Frequently asked questions

What is the SmartCell support technology in the SleepMaker Home mattress?
SmartCell is an innovative foam comfort layer that has a uniquely uniform consistency. This structure improves airflow throughout the mattress, helping dissipate heat and moisture while minimising motion transfer for a more supportive, comfortable, breathable sleeping surface.
Is the SleepMaker Home mattress suitable for a slat bed base?
All SleepMaker Home mattresses can be used on flat bases or solid slat bases, as long as the slats aren't too far apart. Flexible slat bases aren't recommended, as the flexing of the slats means the mattress is undersupported, which can lead to premature wear or damage to the mattress materials.
Is the SleepMaker Home mattress range suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes. The Home range features breathable SmartCell technology and is treated with Ultra-Fresh to inhibit the growth of mould, mildew and other nasties that are known triggers for asthma and allergies, creating a fresher, cleaner and more hygienic sleep environment.
Is the SleepMaker Home mattress available in a box?
Yes. Rolled and boxed versions of the SleepMaker Home mattress are available in Single, Double and Queen sizes. They may not be stocked by all retailers, so we recommend checking their websites or popping instore to check if they carry the boxed mattresses.
What mattress models are available in the SleepMaker Home range?
SleepMaker retailers use different model names for their Home mattresses. Look for these model names while you're shopping for a new bed or registering your purchase: Dream, Revel, Meadow, Indiana, Sumner, California.
