How to care for your mattress

How your comfort layers will settle.

At first your new Sleepmaker bed will feel different from the mattress you have been sleeping on. Don’t worry, your body will soon adjust to the extra comfort and support your new bed provides. It is natural for your new bed to develop body impressions over time as the extra comfort layers in the mattress begin to contour to your body shape. This is a completely normal occurrence and helps ensure the mattress is perfectly contoured for maximum comfort.

Instructions for turning your mattress.

Single Sided:

These mattresses are designed to be used on one side only. They must be rotated from end to end only. Rotate every 2 weeks for the first 4 months then 3 monthly thereafter. (Refer to pic 1)

Double Sided:

A double sided mattress should be rotated from end to end every time. Alternate times the mattress should be both rotated and turned over as per instructions below. This will even out the wear. Perform this process every 2 weeks for the first 4 months then 3 monthly thereafter.
Avoid possible injury! Do not try to turn & rotate an awkward mattress on your own!

How to turn your mattress:

Push at opposite corners (A) and (B) while mattress is lying flat.

Position mattress across bed so that it hangs over about 30cm or more.

Raise mattress on edge as indicated in this illustration.

Let mattress fall gently towards head of bed as shown here.

Push alternately on corners (C) and (D) to position mattress on bed.

and there you are... turned over and end for end as well!
